and come to the Lake!
Camping, Boating, Skiing, Swimming, Picnicking, Fishing and Hunting are just some of the great opportunities that will be enjoyed by HorseThief Reservoir users in 2012. The camping area has 42 sites with water and electric. A primitive camping area is also available. The camping area has shower and restroom facilities open April through November, weather permitting.
The fishing has been off to a good start so far in 2012 with numbers of catfish, crappie and walleye being caught. Check the regulations for sizes and creel limits. There has even been a number of nice sized largemouth bass caught so far.
Remember some of the park and facilities will still be under construction, so please be courteous, watch for construction traffic, and drive on graveled roads only.
Park permits are required upon entering and may be purchased at the office or self-pay station. These permits fund the operation and improvements with in the park.
Please help us help you have an enjoyable trip to HorseThief by picking up trash and being courteous of others. Please do not bring glass containers (including beer bottles) to HorseThief.
