Hunting Permit Information

Horse Thief Reservoir Park will be open for hunting starting October 10, 2009.

Hunting will be on a day use only and hunters must have a permit on their person and a state hunting license.

Permits available at the Pawnee Watershed Office in Jetmore, Kansas (514 W. Hwy 156) & at Cinnamon River Outdoors, 204 W. Frontview, Dodge City, KS  (620) 371-6400.

Pawnee Watershed Office Hours for permits:  Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 8am- Noon and Tuesdays & Thursdays Noon- 5pm. 

Cost of the permit is $10 dollars per person per day.   Kids 16 and younger are free but must have a permit.   All State and Federal regulations apply. 

Please call before you come for a permit        620-357-6420. 

Please stay a safe distance away from ongoing construction and park only in *designated areas.

*Parking areas are located 1 mile south of 209 Road and 156 Highway; 1.5 miles south of 208 Road and Highway 156; and .75 miles south of 210 Road and Highway 156.
